Re: quirky pre-dive rituals?
My pre-dive ritual is to stretch and visualize fish while my eyes are closed. hard to do though when your itching to get in the water.

We always throw coins after we mark our spot right before we dive, to pay the fish Gods..

Re: quirky pre-dive rituals?
Night before I try to drnk alot of water to be hydrated and normally can never fall asleep. Once on the boat I'll stretch and try to stay relaxed but normally I'm so antsy to get in the water it never works. Then make a dive without a gun in my hand until I feel the urge to breathe just to warm up then let the shafts fly.

Gotta listen to the Beatles Octopus's Garden when I am suiting up. And something to relax the nerves.

Pee in my wetsuit, being warm is always a great way to start the dive.

Re: quirky pre-dive rituals?
A couple beers or a cocktail the night before then I sneak into the bathroom and squeeze one out (Im floggin Dolphin before my fins hit the water) before retiring to the couch, I sleep TOO hard in a bed.
Wake up, take at least 2) #2's, both loose due to anxiety, then maybe a bowl pack and a few cigs on the way to the first drop......now we're ready
