Going water jet service rates
Creating some dxf. files on CAD for some custom hardware I am designing for my guns. Most of the hardware will be cut on a waterjet with my files and supplied stainless steel. The majority will be cut on 3/16'' steel. From my research i am assuming the rates will be either per inch or per min/hr. of run time roughly. Does any one know what a fair going rate should be for this service. Also I may send out my files to a few services for quotes . Also now that i am gathering some knowledge in this area it seems like making the basic hardware for a trigger mech would be fairly simple given the correct proportions cut/ braking/ and tig welding. Who out there is making there own trigger mechs?
