[The "Fisher"]

I haven't been out in a while and I figured what better way to kick start the summer than to get wet. I finished my last final at 6 pm today and headed straight for the beach. I was in the water by around 6:30ish and stayed for no longer than 40 mins or so. The vis wasn't the greatest but I couldn't complain (about 10 ft or so). I saw TONS of bat rays up in the shallows carpeting the bottom. I took one calico and one sargo (eating it right this moment). I'll be out tomorrow too....I'll probably try a different location. As I was getting closer to shore to exit I saw a short halibut. I also saw what seemed to be a few really small wsb. They spooked as I moved closer to get a better view.
