For Sale: Picasso Fiberglass Camu fins in Soft
It pains me greatly, but I'm letting go of my Picasso Fiberglass Camu fins in Soft.
They are bombproof for shallow reef diving in Northern California and is the ONLY fin I will wear when diving deeper bluewater in Baja. Here are some real life pics of the fins in use: Bluewater hunting in Mag Bay ![]() There's two main styles of diving. Americans are generally known to use hard fins while Europeans who routinely dive deeper use soft fins and an efficient kick cycle. In Baja I was regularly hunting the 60 - 70 foot range with these and also wore the soft Picasso fiberglass fins when I hit my personal best depth of 78 feet during the trip. ![]() For hunting though, the fin's results were mediocre at best. When raising this fish from depth, I was kicking and making steady progress to the surface, but felt like I couldn't breathe. ![]() And when fighting fish, the fins felt a little lacking in the power department which resulted in my legs feeling a small touch of fatigue by the time I landed my 5th amberjack. ![]() I truly HEART these fins, but I feel like it may be time to upgrade to something with a little more "kick" ![]() If you don't believe me about how bad these fins are, read Medfish's trashy review here: http://www.medfish.com/ezine/?p=171 I am letting these soft fins go to one "weak-legged" individual for the near give away price of $175 plus actual shipping. Buy now and I will throw in a pair of BRAND NEW Picasso Black Team blades for FREE!!! Thats TWO pairs of fins for the price of one! . Last edited by Nelson Kwok; 06-14-2012 at 03:35 AM. |

These ARE soft fins which is why I'm throwing in a free pair of brand new blackteam blades if the buyer desires a stiffer fin. I had planned on swapping them out for my own use, but found the fiberglass fins to be extremely efficient and I hardly expend any energy/oxygen kicking so I never got around to it. |

Re: For Sale: Picasso Fiberglass Camu fins in Soft
i might take them.. i just bought a pair of glass fins on here, but the footpockets are a little to big for my foot. might try these and sell them... do you know if these are a narrower footpocket compared to omer milleniums? also.. would they fit a size 9.5 shoe with 4mm booties

Fins have been sold. But to answer your question, the Picasso footpockets are supposed to be a bit wider than the Omers. I am normally a size 10.5 to 11 foot and the footpockets are perfect when I wear a 4mm Argos booty so I think they would have been a tad big for you. |
