Best eating fish ever, my wife and I drive to Ensenada just to buy them CHEAP at te fish market and bring it back.BAD NEWS IS IT DOES NOT LAST.

Wow. Gorgeous. I've eaten a lot of Opah but never seen one fresh like that. Awesome story. Makes up for missing those easy shots.

Yeah, it must have been just out of visbility. It couldn't have been more than 40 or 50 feet deep and it wasn't far off the paddy as the boat was pretty close. We were using two drift socks, so we were sticking pretty close to the paddy. He could see the YT swimming circles around me. Since the opah took the iron dwindling straight down, it must have been 40 or 50 feet down and away from the paddy. It was probably 75-100 foot vis cuz I could see the drift sock from the paddy.
