I really wish my spearing gear would hurry up and get here from Hawaii. Seems like there are some good places near by. I spotted around 30 small carp in a private high mountain lake I have access too. Hopefully once I get my gear I can find some bigger ones out deeper.

I just moved to grand junction from Florida a few week ago. Anyone heading out soon that wouldnt mind me taggin along. Only have speared in the ocean before, so I'm a novice when it comes to lakes

Welcome. I still want to get out in freshwater more. I dove in own lake but had a hard time adapting to the cold/low vis. Plus my 100cm gun was a bit too much.
