Mexico in June(report)

Went down to Mexico on the sea of cortez side in june. Super hot with no AC in my car. Was a epic trip. My big leopard grouper went 19lbs even. My big limit went about 68lbs(all fish in the photo are gutted). If you havent taken me diving or gone diving with me, then dont PM me for the spot.

Vis:6-15ft
Water temp: 75-82

Fish seen: Leopard grouper, rooster fish, white sea bass, and typical reef fish.

Re: Mexico in June(report)

Had no desire to take more than i needed. The small one in that photo was like 12lbs. I never took more than 2 fish per day for the other 4 days i was there.

Re: Mexico in June(report)

Vis was 15ft the 1st day went down to 6-10ft the rest of the days. Fish were in 8ft-35ft. They were fairly spooky, definitely were not going to get a surface shot. Mostly we would creep down the pinnacles really slow and try and catch them off guard.

Way to go guys. Looks like everyone got some fish. We shall see if there is any diving down there this weekend with the storm passing through.

How far North were you? My friend and I have been planning a trip for awhile now and know nothing about wetsuits, trunks and vest, lycra suits? Any info would be great. We are headed BAJA SUR!
