Birdman, I've never been there but the water might not be that clean by the river inlet, someone else may better tell you. On the outlet, however, by the dam, you have Kingman's Wash where you can do some good camping/fishing. Also decent fishing in the weeds south/east of the marina, can be a longish hike though in 100+ degrees. should be awesome either way, enjoy!
