Repeal Change to the Texas Open Beaches Act
Here is a link where there is an attempt to change the Texas Open Beaches act to counter the recent State Supreme Courts interpretation:

Re: Repeal Change to the Texas Open Beaches Act
Here is another one - http://signon.org/sign/repeal-change...b&r_by=4460591
After reading it, I'm kinda of undecided. I do not own a home on the beach but we have tons of miles of beach with no homes. My argument would be, why do you have to hang out behind someones house? While at the same time I do think beaches should remain free but honestly, I go to the beach fairly often and what I see is a ton of irresponsible people leaving their garbage behind them. Would you want that behind your house? I do think the beaches should remain free and no, I do not own a beach house. I would not be sure how I would vote on this one... Out of respect, I do not think you should hang behind someone's house... |
