Rollergun makers wood gun band anchor

I've searched through a bunch of old thread but can't really find any reliable info on the anchor underneath the gun. What do you all use? Can a regular neptonics type line anchor be used? Or would it pull out of a wood gun with that much pressure on it?

For single action, you can just tie the band permanently to the stock. For double action some people even have cutouts in the stock itself for the bands. But if you are looking for hooks, ermessub has them for single and double roller guns. The hooks are designed so that the wishbone will not jump into the shooting line and will stay on the hook.

I'll get in contact with you soon. Will probably just get 2: 1 for the standard band length, and 1 for a little extra band pull. I haven't started the build yet, so it'll be a little while before I'm ready to buy all the materials.

The line anchors work fine you will need two one at about half or where your bands are just a little taught you will also need a rest tab on your spear that would be your first load the second would be to full cock the top and then turn it over go to the second line anchor on the bottom I can try and post some pictures later if you want

Old thread I know, if I didn't have a rest tab mid-shaft on the spear, could I put a line anchor in the stock to use as a rest tab? I think that's how my first Wong came.
Pictures would be great if you still got em.

Re: Rollergun makers wood gun band anchor

You could, but you dont need to. Pull that sumbitch back and lock it in place....hah

to be fair, i didnt think id need the the bitch anchor on my wong....but on the 60gr plus with fresh bands, it was nearly impossible. I could do it, but the strain and effort wasn't worth it....you want to try a gun that will test your loading techniques, try this 160cm roller cannon that im playing around with right now. Hip loading is the easiest, that way you can really reach out and pull back..

Petros, how much are those single anchors you have?

I shoulda ordered some with the muzzle, but I didn't see them listed on the website. Is it better to call in for things that aren't listed?

Ha, I'm sure I could too, I've got long arms and fairly broad shoulders, but it sure would make it easier, especially on a roller gun.
