If you know several people that have had problems then he's not really bashing him, he's just telling the truth. Not like it's a huge secret. Google the company and all you'll see all the bad reviews.

To the OP....I know you are just trying to sell your gun but those POS have been bashed many times here. I've never seen your gun and I know it sucks you wanting to sell it however, people need to know the story behind those guns. It nothing personal against you.

Ill bash cause I had one, enough said!

Im sure if a person looked at this gun closely they would find the exact same flaws everyone else had.

Check out these videos for yourself if you dont believe me.

Four Seas Speargun: video of poor quality gun made by 4 C's spearguns. Buyer Beware. - YouTube
$2000 in Four Seas Spearguns burn better than they shoot - YouTube
Buyer Beware 4seas spearguns are dangerous. And don't even think about asking the maker for warranty work as he doesnt stand behind his guns. In fact, I dont think he even makes them anymore.

Re: 50" hybrid gun for sale

Wow I honestly was not aware. Unfortunately, my gun is deeped into the finish so I can't see some of the details. I can tell you that the gun does not have all the issues the video shows and the shaft loads and unloads just fine. It also does not have the muzzle issues. In any case, I'm not selling the gun unless someone comes by to check it out and verifies it works fine (we can test it in my pool).

Thank you for the vids.

Re: 50" hybrid gun for sale

mochosla, you handle everyone with class and maturity.

I won a 4C's gun a while back and was impressed with his/ Scubadown's answering all of my questions at the time. I traded my gun before I even received it, because I got a deal on a kayak. I now have a Wong, but a 4c's gun is less expensive.

I was always curious about the characteristics of the 4c's gun vs the Wong. In your opinion how do they differ?

I know a guy who is new to the sport who might be interested, and I will let him know.

Re: 50" hybrid gun for sale

Deadmanh, I'm not going to get all bent out of shape over their comments. In fact, I appreciate everyone telling me about the gun and the pitfalls with them. I'm lucky that I'm not having the same problems and I even contacted the builder who is backing up their work. Now that I'm paying more attention, the gun needs to have the trigger/pushrod replaced as it is short and has too much play. I will fix that and either sell it or keep it.

As far as the difference between this gun and my Wong, the Wong is simply built better and with no defects whatsoever. Not to mention the fact that the waranty and service in Wong guns is the best PERIOD!

In any case, like I said, I will fix the issue with the trigger and sell it or keep it.

You don't see many sellers like this online now days. My dealings with Carlos were flawless and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.

It sounds like four seas is pretty hit and miss (a lot of misses maybe) but here's one of his gun's that seems to be a hit (and the seller is fixing it to ensure this) for a good price, without having to deal with the terrible service that you would get going through the builder himself.

Good luck with the sale Carlos!

Re: 50" hybrid gun for sale

I told my friend about the pros AND cons (including vids), and he didn't want it. But good luck with the sale.
