Danger at the Oceanside Launchramp..

...Yesterday, a Striper flipped upside down at the Oceanside ramps. Several things are causing more dangerous entry and exit conditions. If there is a south swell, combined with wind, things can get hairy for small boats because the south exposure lets waves roll directly into the small harbor. Add the Army Engineers not getting permits in time to dredge the buildup of sand this year and potential for a shallow water rollover increases. In short, keep a sharp eye for rogue waves coming in suddenly and avoid launching at low tide.....

They usually prefer to be upside down. They also usually pose dangerous entry conditions.

I don't know what she was doing hanging out at a boat ramp though, maybe waiting for the club to open.

I was thinking the same.
