Hi All - Need help/info quick. Taking wife for anniversary getaway. Doing an Road trip heading to Palos Verde. Is there anyplace there where you can park on the coastal overlooks and sleep in back of truck? Any and All info is greatly appreciated.

Re: PV Help

My suggestion is to change P.V. to Puerto Vallarta and book a nice romantic room somewhere, maybe the Imanta Hotel up between Sayulita and Punta Mita. Eat some good food, drink some good margaritas and make love all night! Or, just rent a truck and park anywhere you like!

Re: PV Help

It wouldn't be very romantic getting rousted by Sheriff's at 2 am....Closest camping is Golden Shore campground in Long Beach off Ocean Blvd (a half hour drive north to P.V.) or Leo Carrillo campground above Malibu, an hour drive by freeway down to R.P.V. You might get away with parking off on a side street for the nite and drive down to the cliffs in the morning. Most economical hotels are probably in Long Beach.
