Fishbum, I personally don't know. I've got a buddy who dives that area quit a bit. I'll run it by him and see what he says.

Re: Exploring

Very cool stuff, I fish a spot with my bro in law that marks 7-8' tall and the longliner who found it said he pulled a curved piece of aluminum that would be on a plane. It's in roughly 40 fathoms though and I don't care to swim that far.

Never heard of this one in 80fsw off Tarpon. I'd love to dive that. Any more specific local?

Found the 85' Wings off of Anclote, amazing fish on it. Was 1/4 mile from old Loran number I used to dive it on. Storm had to have moved it, still very intact for as old as it is.

Re: Exploring

It took almost half a day to find it. almost gave up, figured it might be just a memory. Glad I didn't! Another cool thing was, on the subsequent run out deeper, we ran over a new little break that was smoking as well. Gotta love weather that allows these type of finds!

Re: Exploring

Dan, I realize this thread is old, but stumbled across it. Very cool find man. Any other threads with discoveries like this that have a back story?

I'm playing catch up on here as I go through some of these old threads.
