Nice catch man. And great way to not just give up on a wounded fish after the first (or second) try.

Nice Vid. and nice catch. Way to stay focused when you got the fish and your weight belt fell off.

Great Job. What kind of Flashlight do you have on your hand? I like that setup because you can still use both hands.

Nice video and really nice sandbass. Those things camo sooo well. I am always swiming over them.

Not sure if this comment applies in this case but I think is helpfull:

What I found to make a significant difference in securing the cath with 3 prongs, is to have your prongs closer together. It is true that if they are open wider they cover the target a little more, but the fish tears off easier cause the prongs no longer have a s much tension.

Check out the pic below:

http://westsidespearfishing.com/wp-c...rman%20153.jpg The Gat-ku 3 prongs are similar.
These 3 prong are in MHO and in my little experience a lot more efficient.

You can try to get your prongs closer together by placing a stoper close to where the prongs meet and applying pressure at the end of the prongs to get them to bend a little closer together. They might never look like the one in the pic but a little closer together should help. Give it a shot you might like it.

I agree with markio. The big down fall about
being to close together is you sound like a
underwater rattle snake when moving the tip
around. Flopper or sliptip are the way to go for
me.

Awesome catch. As far as the prongs, just use a rubber band tied over a couple tiles to keep them together, or a girls hair tie thing. That way when the fish hits it, it pulls down and allows the tines to expand. Way more tension
