Winter Spearfishing

Hey guys, haven't been on here in a while. Just checking to see if anyone is getting anything good out there this winter. I'm probably going to wait another 2 months until I start going out there regularly again but was thinking of going sometime in these next couple weeks just to check out what it's like in the winter. Is it even worth it? I would think it'd be too cold for anything significant this time of year.

Yup, just gotta switch up the game a bit. Lots of crap that tastes good beer-battered.

Owl limpets. They're good in any pasta dish, deep fried, or raw. Kind of like Hawaiian opihi.

Re: Winter Spearfishing

woah, maybe I'll have to give the cold water a try, I'd be down to go in a couple weeks. I have to check my schedule because I have a few weekend EMT courses that are only a few days long but that sounds good. And thanks for the pics, I'll have to head out soon.
