Dive Boat "Uno Mas" is No Mas..

...Today, two divers returning from Catalina on board the "Uno Mas", had one final adventure. Upon smelling smoke, they were alerted to a fire on board. Shortly, they had to abandon ship in a small raft. The 25' boat burned to the waterline and later, the burned out hull was successfully towed in for salvage.
...The owner, tongue in cheek, has renamed his boat, "No Mas".... (For non-speakers, Uno means "one" and Mas is Spanish for "more").

Again, the importance of having multiple fire extinguishers on board cannot be overstated...…………... On board the Balluga, I have one hose-clamped to the post under the drivers seat and one on the bunks in case we have to exit thru flames one dark and dreary night..
...Small Craft wind advisory thru Sunday...Early week looking better with 2' swell from both directions...
