At the rate they are going, you won't be able to afford to. But just bend over and take it one more time. Wait until the screwed up new, and unnecessary regs come out. The only way we can protest is withholding our money.

Re: So long lobster fishing
It makes me angry that we are forced to pay to do their job. When they see their system is a failure, they tack on another fee. Take my share, but don't come crying in a couple years abput the added fees and regulations. This state really sucks.

Re: So long lobster fishing
That's the wrong approach, dude. The only hope California consumptives really have, long term, is the need for the state to monetize what we do. Pay the ****ing 20 bucks...

46 cents to send it in is a lot cheaper.

Re: So long lobster fishing
Yeah, there is plenty of excuses. They use the data against us and it's none of their business where I dive.

Re: So long lobster fishing
I guess you ladies are just missing the point. I'm willing to buy the card, to stay legal, but I'm not sending in numbers that will be used against me. Bullshit. They win. I quit.

I feel the same way. How did you get your ticket? I have a feeling I have one coming.

Re: So long lobster fishing
It starts after next year. If you don't return it by the deadline, they tack on an extra $20 next year. Maybe a card full of random letters, and pictures would be the way to go.

I've found if your careless with hand sanitizer it can smear the hell out of ink. Keep it away from your documents at all costs.

Re: So long lobster fishing
70 lobster equals 10 dives over 6 months. Guess we'll all be surfing come following winter.
