Getting a vis report on spearboard can be a tall order sometimes.

I'm sorry you feel that way but the way I look at it is it's the second week in May. I'm not going to put a grouper in my fishbox if I don't go fishing. If the vis is bad I'll throw the rods at em. Good luck out there I'll be diving or fishing about 25 miles south of you iced and gassed the boat last night leaving in a few minutes.

Dove Jupiter yesterday. Vis was top to bottom out to 125'. The current was running weird. Inside at 80' it ran straight south at a good clip. Up by Zion train it was running more to the west. No cobia but lots of sharks

Good luck!!!

Was diving out of SI all last week in 95-130 and had 20 feet under the blue. Totally shootable.

Damn, looks like a lake out there. Even got ya a decent Mahi. We don't get those sizes on the left coast, in economical day trip distances anyhow. Of course, I'm telling you something you don't already know. BTW, how'd you find it?
Nice post. Nice fish.

Re: Bottom conditions out of Sebastian

Thanks for the report. Hopefully I'll get out next weekend and return the favor. There is so much water out there. No reason to be stingy with info that can help everyone have a good time.

I much prefer SI over Jupiter. I dont mind having 10 foot of vis when it means I can see more species and not have some goliath or bull following me around like a puppy looking for an easy steal.

Mel and spent the whole week there trolling all day catching fins and tuna then making a dive on the way in getting our gags. The cool thing about gags over here is they start at 15lbs and go up from there. Without a doubt we have a year supply of mahi filets for us and the family. The cooler pic is my 250 Yeti.

Not what it seems. He handfeeds his pet gags ballyhoo chunks.

Re: Bottom conditions out of Sebastian

Any bottom condition reports? I heard the cold water is moving in to the 90's and 60's. Seems a little early but the cold usually brings poor vis.
