JP Trip 2/13
Snuck out yesterday on a combo fishing diving trip. Made two dives. First was in 90 feet on the pipeline. Tons of little jacks and a couple really nice gags. Shot a couple decent hogs and several pretty big lionfish. Viz was only around 15 feet. There was a ton of particulate and not much light. Second dive was a similar depth 10 miles or so south. It was a spot we drove over and thought we'd dive. Didn't turn out to be much other than some potholes spaced in sand. We got another lion, a red grouper and a pretty decent mangrove. Viz was a little better but not much. Seems like all this wind this year is keeping the water from clearing up like it often does in the winter. Temp was 64 on the top and both spots had a thermocline that was a little warmer on the bottom. Nice day on the water even if not a big day for shooting fish.

Re: JP Trip 2/13
Thanks for the report. Going to be like that till April. If we keep having these early warm spring like days. The water is going to warm up fast. Then, it'll be the algae bloom and jelly fish.
