I wasn't wearing it for the shot, but I have some good footage of the fight. I'm editing it now.

Sorry if I offended you Justin. I just didn't think my little fish was significant enough to have a thread if it's own. Yours is awesome and what I've been after. We've killed about 20, with 6 over 100, and the biggest 154, but it wasn't mine. That's the consolation prize for being captain. But I did think my pic depicted the awesome new young friends I've made this year.

But seriously, Tony Grogan? You called me the other day and then I tried to take a renewed interest in your forum, but then this little monkey has to climb out of his dumpster and then spout off, WTF!!!

Once you try it at the rigs, you'll be hooked. Ask Mark, Hood and Ronnie...

Rok,

I wasn't tryin to start anything with my comment. I was genuinely curious about how many y'all have boated. I know RJC has shot three that I've seen, but I wasn't sure if it was on RokZone. My first yellowfin (last year) was 103, and I still feel like it's a hell of an accomplishment. A 50 lb yellowfin is an accomplishment. Also, I know you know that 170 lbs is almost purely right place right time. In this case I can tell you it 100% was because it was the only yellowfin we saw all day. I was looking for anything legal, and got this. The only skill was shot placement.

I'm also appreciative of people like you, even though I've never dove with you. You're a boat owner, and I, a non boat owner, really heavily on people like you to get me fish like these. I'm grateful to have certain people in my life that are successful enough to own boats, so what it's worth, thanks. I've seen the others' smiles in your pictures.

Pretty positive the 'monkey' comment was directed towards another in this thread, but if it was towards me, give me a shout so we can squash that.
