Junior. You may want to check with Divehatteras.com to get the "water temperature" I never dove with them but members here have. Good luck.

Hey Guys,
I am headed up your way for a week of diving. Mostly Bluewater, but we will hit the wrecks a bit. My buddy runs his boat out of Oregon inlet. Any productive wrecks up that way? I have spent some time slaying off Hatteras, but haven't worked so far north yet. Are there still AJ's and pompano up there? I am doubting that there will still be Pargoes and grouper. Definitely looking forward to it. All freediving, so no chance on the real deep stuff except for chumming.

We have had very bad weather for many days now. The wind was so bad that even the sound had 3ft. seas for days. At this time of the year you need to check the surf before getting on board. There're a few wrecks just East of the Inlet but vis. and weather at this time may be your main problem but... there is always that nice day that shows up without warning. Try in July for a sure thing.

Good luck,

Rabispear,

how did you do at the Outer Banks/ Oregon Inlet area. The Rockfish run will be here next month, last year it was the best I remember and it all happened just out of the inlet.
