Re: Do Fishermen and fisherwomen lie?
No fisherman has ever exaggerated the size or the weight of his catch. Not even once. Bogus study...

Re: Do Fishermen and fisherwomen lie?
I think I posted this before, but years ago my wife gave me a T-shirt that said, "I fish, therefor I lie". Had a picture on it, but I don't recall what it was. One day I was in the local hardware/sports store and didn't even realize what shirt I was wearing. An older gent approached me and said my shirt offended him. I had to look down to see what shirt I was wearing. I said, "excuse me"?. He said he was offended because he was a fisherman and didn't lie. I thought he was kidding so I said, "see there, you just proved my shirt is correct".
Turns out he wasn't kidding and got really angry. Actually caused a bit of a scene, which was pretty amusing to everyone but him... Ron. |
