Polaroid GoPro

http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/18/p...s100-hands-on/

I still wouldn't buy one, but the cheaper models seem like a good option for those not willing to throw down 200 just to get some crappy footage.

what's the GoPro housing rated for depth?

They said the best Polaroid has to offer is 20 meters.....

Re: Polaroid GoPro

The Gopro housing is rated to 60m I believe, and while I'd say that the camera takes a little getting used to, the footage quality is exceptional and serious value for money.

ApneaAddict, that's some fantastic footage right there.

Re: Polaroid GoPro

I love my GoPro as well. I would definitely not call it crappy footage. Not to mention that Polaroid only goes to 20m which isn't that deep at all. I know people personally that have taken their GoPros to ~220ft with no problems.

From what I've seen on the web, all of the competition is far behind in terms of video quality, customization options, and mounting options.
I didn't make it clear. I was referring to the Polaroid quality. I meant to say if someone wants to go for "crappy footage" for cheap then Polaroid seems like a good option.

But who knows. Maybe the Polaroid can provide great quality video too ( doubt it will be close to what you posted)

But WOW I have to re-watch your footage man that is sick!
