Re: Port a dive map.
I second that!!! He also sent me a great link of all the gulf fish to familiarize myself with the gulf fish. Way different species than back home. Thanks again bro. Now I just want to get wet already!!!

Re: Port a dive map.
Thanks man. I never knew about the UT structure or the wreck. I'll be down there fishing the jetty in December. Do you know what fish are hanging around that time of year?

Re: Port a dive map.
Man Im used to swimming and diving in the Florida keys. I dont know if I could get in that cloudy water. Would kind of freak me out. Got any pictures of the water there? Im curious how clear it gets.

Nice job on the map, how cold is the water? I know I was always wondering where is a good spot there.

Re: Port a dive map.
Hey,
Can someone post the link, or email it to me, for the Gulf fish types? I can always use some more education in that department. I would appreciate it! Oh, and thanks for the map as well. I've fished in some of those areas, and found out about the wreak by losing an anchor on it... Thanks...Jeff |

Re: Port a dive map.
how often do you guys find right conditions to go into water for the area in your map. maybe some 10'+ vis, how often does it happen? trying to set expectations out of the port aransas and corpus cristie area, any input would be highly appriciated...
I am located in houston, have been around the galveston and surronding areas for rod and reel, but did not see any diving visibility over there.... thanks again for the effort on the map, that's some gold.. |

Re: Port a dive map.
Ya I have to agree and for me the water temp will be too cold for my old ass before it gets settled down.
