I don't think it was a mutton. So perhaps a permit then. Will take a closer look again on GoPro directly to high def TV. I thought I had more video of it, but looks like not.

Big Lesser Amber Jacks can be like that in clear water too. Glad to hear of great year's end for ya. Sounds like some good groceries.

I've seen Jack Crevelle and horse eyes that deep but usually on wrecks.

Looked it up. Not too much of a chance of me being able to differentiate a horse eye jack from a jack Crevalle unless they were both lying on the deck of the boat next to each other.
