Re: HeadHunter Video
Marcus, thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. No it was actually West of the MG. A little rocky area that's usually fishy.

They're not too smart.overall, but once they learn a thing like fish stealing, it never goes away. Kind of like most wild animals in that regard. But, it helps a lot to just shoot fish that are too big for the Goliaths to eat. That's Dan's main strategy. |

Re: HeadHunter Video
That was funny! Can't say that's ever happened to me. I hope he ended up on your stringer as punishment!

Re: HeadHunter Video
Oh man... When I saw the lower quality cell phone video I thought it was the fish you were stringing. That is some funny shit. He was pissed at you. Maybe those reds aren't as dumb as we think they are.
I had a Hogfish try to bite me once after a poor shot. I was a little taken back as it was the first time I had a fish really try to defend itself. |

I had a wrasse like the one above deliberately bite a bud of mine and then me. My bud was trying to take the hook out of his mouth when he exclaimed "Ow, it bit me!". I looked at him like he had another head growing out his shoulders. I then grabbed the fish mid body and that sucker bent around like a snake and bit my thumb. I was like "damn!" we better get this thing back in the water before someone else gets hurt.

Re: HeadHunter Video
That was funny! I've had triggers attack me before but never seen a red grouper so aggressive.
