California Sea Cucumber dive permit

California Sea Cucumber dive permit... $25,000 firm. Cash, No payments because once the permit is transferred by the DFG, its yours with no recourse for seller to get it back because of non-payment.
If... You don't have a boat and gear, you are not the only one as many cuke divers are "Walk On Divers" on other guys boats

Re: California Sea Cucumber dive permit

$5.00 per pound with a diver who knows the spots and works hard, "maybe" 200-400 pounds per day (average). This year is way different as it is the 1st with a season which doesn't open till June 15th. In past years guys start diving hard for them in Feb... DFG requires you to have a commercial lic. and sea cucumber dive permit... that's it, no limit or size restriction.

Good Luck with the sale, wish I had the cash.

You use to have your boat next to mine in the channel island dry storage and they just increased rates. They now measure the trailer tongue to the back of your engines as your total length as charged.

We'd all like to buy it, but do cuke divers ever make their cash back? With the new urchin regulations you might have a better chance at selling it. A couple years ago people were diving them hard. In alaska I hear cuke divers do pretty well?

Wow I had no idea there was a market for Sea Cucumber. After a little research I was NOT surprise that they are a delicacy in certain Asian countries and sometimes used for impotence. Classic.

I have seen some big ass sea cuc's before, but not to often. What type of area do you typically find them?
