Hey Bastards, I'm still here!

Been a long hiatus, since 2012, since the last post or look at SB. I hope the drama has subsided a wee bit, and everyone is safe burpin' and chirpin'.

We're in the Mid-Atlantic Region now, but my loyalties will always be with the People's Republic of California.

Cheers!

Oh other than the crazies in the political section, things are mellow now. You trying to start something? Huh are you?

Hey! I resemble that remark! Welcome back O Cino.

From my perspective, it is a better site now that many of the self-appointed critics and/or self-centered ego types have either been kicked off or departed for "better" pastures...Now, perhaps, it can become a site where divers can share information that helps keep the youngsters alive and perhaps, land a big fish....just an old farts opinion after living for 71 years.... On retirement...we looked at all the possibles and finally decided Southern CA is the best place in the universe to live and die in.......Marlin are stacked up off the east end of Catalina and some good squid at the west end...(Hint, hint)….Yellowtail in at Santa Barbara island north end....go get one..

Welcome back Mike! In 2011 you took me out for my first dive in the Pacific (La Jolla) and I will never forget that! I hope I can return the favor and take you for a dive in our waters. Let me know!

Thank you Yiannis, much appreciated as we're in the DC area, and the drive to NJ isn't too far. I've never harvested a Striped Bass (Rockfish) so that's on a "wish list." I'll PM a contact # and email. For now, it's deer season, so I'm shafting mammals with antlers.

Bob: great to hear from you too! We keep a place in San Diego and Joshua Tree with thoughts of ending up back in SoCal. I'm retired, and wife is over 35 years service, so it's about time ... she still won't go for the cabin cruiser though.

Well said, brother! I find your posts very informative, even though I can only visit your frigid waters only a few times a year Maybe some day we can shot some fish together.

Michael.
What's up buddy. Long time no see.
This place is nowhere like it used to be. Pretty damn slow these days, and boring.
I pretty much just visit to read Bob's posts.
