Congrats again Tony, that was a nice fish. I know all too well about the fish your after not being home on tournament day! Thought you always lift bagged your fish to the surface to avoid such problems?

What a story and pic's, Tony, it feels like we're right there with you.
How anyone (except Dan McMahon) could pull that one off, especially with all the tanks hanging on their body, is beyond me. Dead men tell no tales, but a dead Warsaw does.
Great job, Ray

Thanks Richard! The shaft tip was buried in its head and could not be removed by pulling out or pushing through. With a line gun and the chance of entanglement as well as no sharks being around, I decided to control the fish and pop the swim bladder. There was also only one guy in the boat and the surface current was ripping. I did not want to burden that guy with getting a big fish in the boat by himself in that current and potentially losing sight of our surface marker buoys. Luckily, no sharks showed up through our deco period.
