Nice shooting there. And not much recoil with that gun.

Last time I dove Pasco 4 after Irma, it was covered in bait and vis was horrible.

Thanks - the Hammer shoots so nicely and it is really almost instinctive now. As for recoil, most times I have only one band back, but even then you have to make sure your chin or face isn't too close to the butt stock. The 60" length helps a lot with the recoil, as well as making my own bands not as powerful.

Pasco 4 is definitely LOADED with bait, which makes the bad viz even worse.

Trust me, it is NOT going to be that warm from this point on - temps have dropped close to 10 degrees in the last 2 weeks.

It was 77-78 degrees today in 50-80ft out of Clearwater. Temps have not dropped 10 degrees, yet! This front coming in Sunday will drop them down a few more but it was very comfortable today.

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

Hit a couple of ledges yesterday out of Clw. Limited on good hogs, got one good size flounder missed a keeper grouper. Viz was 8-12' at 45' and a pretty cold thermal-cline for this Fl cracker. Swam up on a 5' nurse shark that decided to follow us us around for a minute or so. Overall great to get out.

I know I am new so I will buy the first round and listen in the shadows.

Thank you for all the info,
Pal

Any fish?

Was out hook and line Wednesday in 80’ thinking it would be too cold to dive.

SST was 75.5 degrees in case anyone is interested, should have brought a tank. Fish were hungry nice mangos porgies and just short gag grouper but bigger ones probably down there. One 28” keeper.
