My brother and I used to shoot milk jugs with a 7.5" single action Blackhawk in .357 at 100 yards when we were teenagers. I don't doubt that this old fella has spent some time behind the trigger in his day, and was no more rattled in this situation than he gets when a big buck jumps up in front of him.

Good shooting sir!

Back in the dark ages ( Bush the first & Klinton years) I was range officer at a recreational range on a NASA facility. We had several federal and local LEO groups that "qualified" on our range as guests in the relatively cool dry weather of October and March, as well as uniformed Navy special boat units. We had to build all new target frames the first of November and April in order too have something to hang targets on again. The longest "qualification" shot was 25 yards, with most shots done under 7 yards. They still shredded the frames. Range members would put 10X as many rounds downrange in the 5 months before we hit another LEO qualification cycle without significant damage to the frames a new facer wouldn't fix. Our frame building costs got so bad we finally asked the LEOs to bring their own frames, which extended our frame life to about 3 years before the termites finally won and we had to replace them due to insect damage.

In the local area if the generic LEO is shooting at you it's best to hold still. If you move you might walk into one.... OTOH we had a dozen or so that used the range that could "pick a button" at 50 yards or more.

That's a classic.

That's one of my preferred guns.

Mine is a Smith & wesson .357 magnum revolver.

That gun kicks ass.

I have the same gun. Model 19-3. I have a lot of pistols, and I like it best. It used to belong to a cop, and has been really well tuned by a gunsmith. Smooth as butter.
