Re: Outboard Adjustment Training Day

you said you made a prop change as well? Maybe going back to last porp with the new drive height might work? Change only one thing at a time if you can.

Loosely translated, I'm gonna lower the motor one bolt hole and purposely tear the bracket that I never liked anyway right off my boat. Sooooooo that my really good friends can help me fiberglass and completely rebuild my boat for the next three months

Looks good. Curious as to what the weight of the batteries at the stern did. I have moved batteries forward many times just to try and keep that 100 plus pounds as far forward as possible.

That looks spectacular. Could you give some more details on the products and process for the fiberglass and gel coating?

Re: Outboard Adjustment Training Day

Pimpin, the hull is a 74 or 73 Fleetcraft inboard converted to OB.
It's a copy of an old Formula hull with some modifications. It's real light, and solid. Boat easily cruises loaded heavy at 30kts.

Best of Luck, Jason

Fiberglass coatings is where the materials came from.

I'd type it all for you but it's alot. Send me a PM and tell what your project is and I'll see if I can point you in the right direction. That would be alot easier.

Best of luck. Jason

What a beautiful installation. Nothing beats the detail spent on custom work. You could make a fortune catering to the rich with that kind of attention to detail. Mass production you would lose your shirt though. What a great job!

I need to know what pitch and style of prop you have to offer an opionion though.
If this were true my Contenders prop would be completely dry.
