Wetsuit Camo
Looking to buy my first wetsuit and the Mako Yamamoto looks like the best choice. But I'm not sure what camo to get. I typically spearfish around the reefs in South East Florida but I also want to do blue water. Would the blue camo or the brown camo be better? thanks for the help!

Re: Wetsuit Camo
Mako makes a reversible they just came out with Bluewater on one side and reef camo on the other but I think it's only in 2 mil. I just bought one and it fits real nice, and I like having the option of two camo patterns in one suit. Hope this helps if you dive more reefs and structure the green camo I will be your best bet and obviously the Bluewater if you do more Bluewater

Re: Wetsuit Camo
Also another thing I like about this suit is it's the Yamamoto but it's close cell so no lube, A lot easier to put on but not quite as warm as the open cell I had the open cell three mill two-piece Farmer John mako last year and it was too hot for most of the winter except for the coldest days we had

Re: Wetsuit Camo
The jersey lining is what makes it not need lube. the rubber sandwitched in between doesnt matter, its the smooth camo cloth that allows for easy getting it on and taking it off.

Re: Wetsuit Camo
It is too cold for a 2 mm one piece suit with a back zip in the winter.
You want a two piece freedive suit for freediving for fall, winter, early spring. I think the blue camo looks cool, that is my preference, but I don't know that I have been able to tell the difference in productivity when spearing.
