Anyone notice the really Big rays that have come in this year. Saw one today that was at least 125-150lbs

Hit Montauk Point this afternoon..... viz wasnt bad, fish on the elbow and in the slot..... sea bass to the west.....

Hit the jettys off Deal this morning. Conditions were about as bad as I thought they would be. Decent up top but piss poor at the bottom. Saw some short fluke

brooklyn/queens was surprisingly decent yesterday...~8ft but snotty. Managed a striper and a trigger.

Went out to moriches inlet vis was piss poor at the top but going down a couple of feet it was probably 6' and got better as I went down. Got skunked, didn't see anything big except some tog still a good day out there though.

Jumped in off a jetty today. Worst viz I have seen ever.

I got a 4 day weekend coming up, viz better improve or Im going to Jenks aquarium and jumping in the striper tank.

dove a bunch of jetties in monmouth county from long branch to deal. worst vis ive ever seen, thick green brown and red algae blooms. people must have really gone big with the fertilizer....ran face first into some bass and monster tog but didnt see any triggers.

Monmouth County striper charter captains reporting the same on other sites about the algae blooms yesterday. I wonder how long it will take for them to clear??

Hoping offshore winds clear things up. NJ Marine forecast below:

Wed
W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 or 3 ft.
Wed Night
NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 or 3 ft.
Thu
NW winds around 10 kt...becoming W in the afternoon. Seas 2 or 3 ft.
Thu Night
W winds around 5 kt. Seas around 2 ft.
Fri
NW winds 5 to 10 kt...becoming SW. Seas 2 or 3 ft.
Sat
SW winds 5 to 10 kt...increasing to 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Winds and seas higher in and near tstms.
