yamaha 200 question.... has slight problem

My question is I have a little spit thru vent line on side of top carb when running.. I changed the check valves on block that the line goes to and made no difference.. I swapped carb from one motor to the other thinking it might be carb.. no difference.. seems to go away around 1800 rpm/s.. could this be reed valve going bad?? and if so would it run going fast.. it runs great on plane and all the way up to 5500 rpm's.. motor does not stall, just drops 100 to 200 rpms at very lower rpm;'s any info apprecitated.. thanks.. and yes.. i just changed the plugs..
