LG Manilu Revolution pneumovacuum speargun
For those with a penchant for something exotic here is the LG Manilu "Revolution" pneumovacuum speargun.
http://www.lgsub.it/categoria-prodot...li-pneumatici/ Much of this gun is fully machined, which increases the production costs, but as a consequence you buy something which looks very different. Prices range from 340 to 480 euro. Last edited by popgun pete; 09-15-2018 at 04:23 PM. Reason: added price info |

The LG Manilu "Revolution" pneumovacuum speargun has a rather quirky construction as can be seen from these photos.

Re: LG Manilu Revolution pneumovacuum speargun
Note that a step was later incorporated into the gun body for the revised grip handle to butt up against, as otherwise the two transverse fixing pins were all that held the handle on the gun as it recoiled backwards with the shot. Now the step in the gun body fully indexes the handle, which is snugged up into the gun body, rather than simply cupping it as the handle did before.
The grip handle is machined out of plastic rather than being molded. |

Re: LG Manilu Revolution pneumovacuum speargun
The LG Manilu "Revolution" has more metal in its rear end than the usual Italian rear handle pneumatic guns which are all descendants of the plastic ended 1967 Mares "Sten", except for the Omer and Sporasub "Airbalete" style detachable rear handle guns.
However the LG gun floats horizontally at the surface with the top of the gun just breaking through it, so whatever weight is in the rear end balances out with the muzzle end and the gun body has a gradually tapered conical shape running both forwards and rearwards from the larger diameter mid-section of the gun body. https://youtu.be/HXL4nsx8mOY https://youtu.be/6YCi8l30ucU loader click https://youtu.be/B-QgkyXZ4Sw Last edited by popgun pete; 09-16-2018 at 03:49 PM. |

Now you can get one in blue with a 14 mm diameter inner barrel and a new set of stickers for the "Supreme" model.
Note the gun used a 12 mm inner barrel before and this version appears to be an extra model to the Manilu Revolution line. Last edited by popgun pete; 05-03-2020 at 07:28 PM. |

Re: LG Manilu Revolution pneumovacuum speargun
Note that all LG guns now have a conical front end to the tank with the rear end being the usual cylinder at the full tank diameter. Those with long memories will remember the conical nosed Omer “Skorpion” which was much narrower in the front end and has now sunk without trace. Basically the “Skorpion” was a “Tempest” with a new tank and muzzle that tossed away a lot of front end buoyancy. Muzzles are now much lighter in weight, so that makes the LG a better floater than the "Skorpion".
