This gun would be of no use for some bubble blower.

$50?! $170 is a really good price for that gun. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it wasn't just a little too long for what I need.

Advantages of Euro Style guns
This gun is 100times more manuverable, and 100 times more accurate than any wood gun out there. Basically, it is enjoyable to dive with and it shoots wherever you point it, none of this muzzle flip or shaft whip stuff you get when you over power a speargun. This gun has the perfect amount of power for its weight and length
And for those of you who think that one band isn't enough power, the shaft on this gun went right through the head of a 52 lb cabrilla from 15 feet away, and right through the head of a 120 lb grouper from 12 ft. Thats plenty of power for me. The only disadvantagre of the euro style arbalete gun is that they dont have slip-tips so you need to get a good solid shot, or the fish might tear off, due to the pressure of the shaft. If you are good enough to get close to the fish, and get a good shot, then these guns are the way to go. You dont see ANY of the world meet competitors using anything but euroguns. It's simple, the best USE the best. Take a lesson from the best divers in the world, dont waste your time using a five foot gun with 3 bands when you dont really need to. I have a big game gun, 4 bands, sidestocks, the whole thing, but i just hate swimming around with it. When I was diving in La Paz with that gun it was soo muck work carrying that thing down 70-80ft, and bringing it back up again. When i took my euro gun, i was diving twice as well, staying down much longer, and shooting way more fish. The only time i would use a big wooden gun with 3+ bands is for open water diving or in the presence of huge fish that may be far away. |

What kind of range do you get with it?

range
max range is about 18ft, thats from the handle to the tip wit all line out.
But i would shoot any big fish from more than 15 ft with it. |
