SMG Speargun

I have a double barrel SMG in like new condition, bags of different power levels of loads, 2 fiberglass shafts, 1 stainless shaft, and integrated reel. Anyone have a copy of the original owner's manual? Anyone have an idea of what this gun may be worth? I think this gun could take down a tuna!

Hog

I own an SMG that I bought about 18 months ago. At that time I found that they were going for anywhere from $200 (but not complete like yours) up to $350. Some are being sold without the reel. Some only have one shaft. None had "bags of different loads" as you seem to have.

I know the owner of Jupiter Dive Center, Randy, was interested in finding one in good condition.

Which loads do you have? I have red and purple, have you got something else?

Sorry, but I don't have an owners manual.

Re: SMG Speargun

I have green, purple, and yellow. All original from Tapmatic Corp. The bags each contain a card from the manufacturer telling about each color. Green yellow red purple, in order from lightest to heaviest load. It also mentions that you can reload them. It seems like the end of the shell would get blown open upon firing, so when reloading how do you seal the shell end back up?

Re: SMG Speargun

I was thinking that I might just reload with fresh Hilti gun rounds before trying to use this old ammo. Maybe coat evetything with clear nail polish to seal.
