Pockets

Fixing up a pair of fins. Omer or pathos pockets? Anybody wanna chime in.

I have used both. If Pathos fit, they can be great and to some extent you can mold them to your feet..... Just not enough for my feet. I love the Omer pockets which are quite a bit heavier. You have to glue in the blades with the Pathos but not the Omer. If you do not like the Pathos pockets once they are glued in, you will destroy the pockets trying to remove the blades from them.

Good advice above..... Footpockets are pain in the ass. The best for one guy is miserable for the other. If you can try them on before buying do that. If you can't make sure you try them on and are really sure about the fit before you start messing with them.

The best way to adapt them is to dip the pockets for 5 minutes in boiling water and then wear them with your diving booties/soxs until they cool down. They will take the shape of your feet.

Beuchat are my favorite. I rarely use socks with them.

It takes some work to get the blades in, but they are sweet.
