WTB: Good used tanks
I prefer aluminum 100s, but will talk about others.

Re: WTB: Good used tanks
Should have mentioned: I live between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, FL and would be looking first for a local source or one I could drive to meet.

Re: WTB: Good used tanks
You can find good deals on Ebay or Craigslist in your area. You should try there also. Don't limit yourself to just Spearboard. You should also try Bloodydecks.com and Scuba.com.

Re: WTB: Good used tanks
I will likely be selling 2, possibly 3 Luxfer AL100's shortly.
2 of them are 1987 models, one is much newer & no problem getting filled anywhere. I have some steel tanks in transit, once they get here & pass VIP I'll decide for sure what I'm selling. If the 2 older ones interest you I'm asking $80 each. They're both in hydro & current VIP. They have nitrox stickers on them, are dark blue. The outer finish is a bit scraped up but the interiors are pristine. They've been VIP+, with Visual+ checked out each year by people who really know what they're doing & I dive them regularly. All 3 have K valves.

Re: WTB: Good used tanks
I've run into too much trouble getting older Luxfers filled when I travel. I know (and you know) the policy, but too many places are just refusing to refill. May be my bad luck, but I'll pass.
Thanks anyway, for the response.

Re: WTB: Good used tanks
you interested in the newer one if I decide to sell it? I got it in 2005 & it was I think less than a year old. I'll have to look to be sure of the original hydro, but it was hydroed in 2007. October, I think. It's bare AL, no color.

Re: WTB: Good used tanks
As long as the original hydro is 1990 or later, I'm interested.
I love your signature, btw. Manny 904-610-1567

Re: WTB: Good used tanks
I've pretty much decided to sell it, once I'm sure the new tanks are good. Original hydro is 09/03, it was hydro'd 10/07. Shop sent it out a year early, I guess someone misread it.
I'm thinking shipping it ground would prolly run about $20 or so. Right now it's full of 32% but I'm planning to breath it down on the 31st. I'm thinking $140 + shipping, or meet us in Jupiter in late march.

Re: WTB: Good used tanks
I have a 100 cf aluminum, got its first re-hydro 2 or 3 years ago, so I think its 7 or 8 years old. Havent used it many times, maybe 6. I have way too many tanks. I got it right before I got a bunch of 120 LP steels, plus I have a bunch of AL80s- 77 cf. Its has nitrox decals, and in fair/good shape, yoke valve, I will check original date and brand if you are interested.. $100. But I live in Sarasota.
