What 130 Speargun should I get?

So I am starting more blues water and decided I needed a bigger gun, i currently have a 85 cm cress Geronimo. I will mainly be shooting maui, kings, and wahoo with it. I'm not looking at anything expensive like a koah(which i would love to buy) but something more like a Rob Allen or a Mako AR. Also open or closed track?

Open is just fine, i've shot a lot of 120-130cm guns, the enclosed track made no noticeable difference on a 2 band gun.
whats your budget? From the two mentioned above most definitely choose the RA.

I just got a Mako 120 AR15 with a reel & it is quite an awesome gun. Tin Man & Griswold designed one amazing gun & backed by Dano's legendary customer service at Mako make it an amazing value.
The components are solid & the enclosed track makes it so easy to load. You can choose the option of an open track too! Mini sharkfin tabs, American reverse mech, AR15 handle, etc. make the choice an easy one. Good luck. T

He's 14. Get a 120 RA and after a couple years if you still like the sport, get something else.

120, get a used one, learn to use it and to stalk the fish, then... Start collecting

Finance a Sea Sniper through your parents.

It will have a higher resale value if you ever sell it and you will love it like your right hand.

Sadly no matter what you buy if you get it brand new and use it a few years you're going to lose about half your investment into the gun. Even if it is one of Chris's insane creations

Happily, if you purchase an American made gun or other product you actually keep Americans working and American factories open rather than sending your hard earned dollars overseas to support the Chinese military buildup.

I would wager a fair sum that a Sea Sniper will lose less % value over its lifetime than a plastic pipe gun.

Re: What 130 Speargun should I get?

RA's a good gun, with a solid manufacturer behind him! MAKO however has some great guns that are pretty much the same for considerably less the price! Why pay more for the same product? Heres some fish that I just caught with my 130 ETR, minus 2 ONO and the rat Mahi. I didn't miss a shot that day and landed every fish! Hit me up if you've got any questions!

Sea Sniper has an actual factory in America with real machines and real people working there. Go check them out and buy your gun from them. The extra cost will be worth the eye opening experience of seeing an actual factory in Kalifornia.

Their euro models are around $500. Most young Americans will enjoy their highest standard of living while being supported by their parents.
