Biller Shafts Needed...

I'm want to stock up - the wonderful, fantastic, lovely and incredibly loving Mrs. Mako bought me a new A.B. Biller Mahogany Speargun - 60 Special for xmas... It's not a custom... I know... but it's a work horse and I'm ecstatic!!! Usually it's a tie... :-)

Love that lady!!!!!

I wanted to stock up on 60" threaded free shafts with a 3" flopper...

And to my surprise, they are not cheap!

Can I use JBL shafts in the Biller?

Any recommendations, thoughts?

I have two used 60" shafts that will work in a Biller - both have 3" flopper, one has line ring on it but that can be removed if you wish. Both have threaded tips - one shaft has two notches for bands and one shaft has three notches.

Will sell them for $25 each.

Try Ray Odor, he had quit the business a while back but I think he's out of retirement. Great guy, great freeshafts cheap.

JBL shafts won't work in Biller guns. Look at the end of the shaft. The locking notches are cut different. Lou at Spearcrafters is local.

Re: Biller Shafts Needed...

I use JBL all the time in my Biller but not vice versa. Many of the guys I know use a Biller mechanism with a JBL muzzle and use whatever shaft is cheapest at the time. That is a nice gun and will last a long time.Customs guns are overrated .
