Fish Killin' Swamp Yankee

Sheepshead, Block Island.
I just missed one of these last weekend off Block Island, and I almost shot a Sheepshead too.
Really, I saw a big Sheepshead in 45 ft off the Block, anyone else see one of these fish up here before. Missed the shot because it was down in the rocks and I had my big gun. I posted this photo for the reference to the fish......... and the pure enjoyment of the mammary glands. |

I've seen those before. I kept throwing dollars at them but I couldn't seem land 'em. Go figure.

I saw a sheepshead at the arches in mid October of last year. It was near the bottom at around 40 feet as well. It bolted as soon as I sighted him, but the stripes were unmistakable.
