Re: Mako Float vs Riffe Float
I'm confused... The neptonics 3atm float is advertised as 30psi where as the mako HP is 21psi. What gives? Why was I under the impression these were identical?

Re: Mako Float vs Riffe Float
Hey Mouser,
Good observation. They are the same floats that we will be offering. They are made by the same factory with the same materials and workmanship. My original stated rating was based on some earlier models that we were working on. Thanks for picking up on this. Dive safe, dano

Re: Mako Float vs Riffe Float
Finally, I've got hold of that monster, the yellow 60L high-pressure float. It doesn’t look that big when you compare it side by side with RA35L. May be 1/3 bigger by volume. Overall size when inflated, roughly L 1100 L x D 330mm.
I used a foot pump and managed to bring the pressure to 20psi. The float got as solid as a metal! Although I reckon it can be inflated further. Last edited by vamforce; 12-02-2013 at 01:14 AM. |
