Hey whats up guys and girls

Another new member. Long time lurker, first time poster. Lived in north florida for some time now but have never been diving up here. (Grew up down south). Getting ready to head to the keys for a week even though it looks like we'll be heading down into a storm. Hoping we get at least a few decent days--fingers and toes crossed.

Once back, i'm really looking forward to diving up here. Think i'm going to start out on the seadogger to get my north fl feet wet. The vis may not compare to south fl but the hunting seems to be just as good if not better and with way fewer hungry bulls. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys and thanks for all the knowledge gained during my days lurking!

Welcome to the board.... I am Seadogger I think you are referring to diving with Seadogs dive center in New Smyrn Bch. You will be diving with capt. Robert on the Layne Jean.

Re: Hey whats up guys and girls

Native Diver out of Monty's Marina may be a lot closer if you are diving from Jacksonville. Contact Atlantic Pro Dive in Jax Beach to get setup on that boat. Captain is very knowledgeable and out on the water just about every doable day. Sometimes people will need an extra diver on private boats and its a great way to meet some new people.

Welcome aboard!

Trout

Welcome Bro. Where abouts down south? Ive been diving two years up here, never seen a bull. I saw a tiger in 110ft, wasn't aggressive at all.
I second APD, I'd start there.

Re: Hey whats up guys and girls

Right on.. I'm from the south too, A place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I'm talking about a little place called lauderdale, lol. Had to say it... I've yet to measure a lobster up here, they're all monsters!! I'm doing a keys trip as well for the lob. opening. Down there my measure stick is my right hand man.

The Captain who runs Native Diver is a salty old character with many opinions but a great man with an arsenal of great spots.
