In CapeCod for a week...

I am asking to anyone that knows about Cape Cod vs. spearfishing...
I will be there from July 6th to the 12th... Leaving from Montréal... Should I bring my gear?

I looked quickly at the regulation of Massachusetts and the "only with a line and hook" part is pretty much all over the place.

Any advice?

No Striped Bass by spearfishing. You can try your luck with tautog or fluke. Where on the Cape will you be staying. That will determine a lot. Also bring a 5 mm, water is still on the cool side for end of June

I will be staying in Truro on the bay side. I have a car. If it means travelling a couple hours to have a good shot at nice ones... I am all in! All suggestions are welcome!

You may want to drive to Rhode Island and go after Stripers there. Remember you will need a salt water fishing license which you can purchase online
