In CapeCod for a week...
I am asking to anyone that knows about Cape Cod vs. spearfishing...
I will be there from July 6th to the 12th... Leaving from Montréal... Should I bring my gear? I looked quickly at the regulation of Massachusetts and the "only with a line and hook" part is pretty much all over the place. Any advice? |

Re: In CapeCod for a week...
No Striped Bass by spearfishing. You can try your luck with tautog or fluke. Where on the Cape will you be staying. That will determine a lot. Also bring a 5 mm, water is still on the cool side for end of June

I will be staying in Truro on the bay side. I have a car. If it means travelling a couple hours to have a good shot at nice ones... I am all in! All suggestions are welcome!

You may want to drive to Rhode Island and go after Stripers there. Remember you will need a salt water fishing license which you can purchase online
