Triton X campsites for Monterey Bay Triton's

This post is for Monterey Bay Triton's,

It’s that time of year again. It’s time for the Triton X in Caspar, CA, presented by The Freedive Shop, which is our clubs biggest sponsor, on September 7, 2019.

Every year for this event, the club pays for the campsites so members have the benefit of camping at this event for free. Along with the discounts that members get at the Freedive Shop, this is one of the many benefits of being a member of the Triton’s for your annual $30 membership dues. Take advantage of this.

This year, we are making changes to HOW you can stay in the campsite and WHO can stay in the campsite. We have reserved our usual tent campsites in #’s 13, 14 and 15, for Friday and Saturday nights(8/6 – 8/7). Because the club cannot afford to waste club funds needlessly, we may cancel a campsite if attendance is low.

So, in order to stay in the campsite, you must be a paid member (I will have a list of paid members). You must confirm with me (RSVP), either in this post or in private message that you and/or a guest will be staying in the campsite. If we receive a low response, we will cancel a campsite. This means that if you don’t RSVP, and we cancel a campsite, there will be no room for you. RSVP’s must be received by Saturday, August. 31st.

Also, because these campsites are not very big, you must bring a smaller tent. No large tents. 1-man, or 2-man only. You can sleep in your truck or van. With the smaller tents, each campsite can accommodate 4 campers.

You may bring one guest, but they will be required to pay $7 per night, as is charged to us by the resort. If you have more than one guest (family) please PM or call me. If you have questions, please call me. Bryan @ 559-288-7005

When the RSVP’s have been made and the campsites are full, then we will no longer have room. So, its first-come, first-serve.

Hope to see as many of our members as possible. Have fun and dive safe.

Thank you,
Bryan Mabrey
