I don't like how Abellan guns shot, but this gun is beautiful!

Why don’t you like the way it shoots?

Re: my 145 denton

Too much recoil for my taste. I tried a friend's one and almost ripped my hand off my arm!

And swinging it in the water is another story...

But that's me. They look pretty and some people loves them.

Okay that makes sense.
I conclude significant, difficult to control recoil (unless spearq8’s handle mod).

Difficult tracking.

Do the other Denton users feel the same?

mine is self made not big difference made by CNC router but I have fix the handle issue and made longer muzzle ,no need to SS plate I replace it with epoxy and embed CF strip ,its look great but as I said muzzle shape not popular and strange in my area .I think denton difference with other gun in band elevator ,oval profile and longer stretch

My Denton 120 does not recoil at all. Bands are original 15mm (or so) stretched at 370%. Handle has not been moded. Purchased it this year.

Hi Fred,
How do you like the Hunt Maxi reel? Does it free spool easily with no control?
Does the brake work OK?

Hello Straits

for Mediterranean fish it's fine, but I exploded the brake thread on a 50kg tuna

Do you mean that you damaged the thread on a 50 kg tuna?
