good looking dive boat

was at the Fred Hall show and there is a New Zealand boat maker. I checked out the boats and they look like a great starter dive boat. Great little cuddy to sleep 2-3 guys. Nice enclosure to keep you comfy in rough waters. I have nothing to do with these just really liked it. Price seems pretty good too around $55k for the 23' at least that's what the dealer said. Wish it had a better motor but thats prob keeping the price down.

Re: good looking dive boat

That is a sick ****in boat. Doesn't look or feel like 23 tho, looks more like 20 to me.

And what's with the Mercury? Jesus give me a Japanese outboard!!!

Love the layout and the look - would be fun to test drive!

Re: good looking dive boat

My whaler revenge 21 is similar but I did a lot of kids and thus has a deeper v so looks like it will ride better. Also the open cudy is nice and roomy. 2 guys very comfy, 3 a little cozy but def do-able. Would love to test drive.

If I was gonna drop $15k on a new outboard for my boat I would feel much more comfortable dropping it on a Honda or Yamaha rather than a Mercury.

Same as buying a car...

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have a brand new 4-stroke Merc than a 30-year old 2-stroke Yamaha...

Dive boat? Where do you put the tanks for 3 guys? I carry 12 tanks on my Sportsman 232.

Re: good looking dive boat

my revenge just like scubafever has the same or less deck space then this boat and have no issues with tanks for 3 guys. I walked on this boat and you can side mount racks or just lay on deck like I do. Plenty of space.

Awesome looking boat but very little deck space. How do you fish off that boat?
